Trip is off to a decent start

So far, so good. I’m currently on the train to New York (and it’s a full train) connected to the Internet through my phone and bluetooth dial-up networking. Getting up was interesting, but it wasn’t *that* much earlier than I normally get up, but remembering the “extra” things to do before I left was fun. I left things out in the open so I would trip on them to remind me. The cats are all full of food and clean litter, and I think they knew I was leaving because they were looking at me like “where are you going? and when are you coming back?”

My train left on time from Union Station, which was one of my big worries about getting to JFK on time. I’m going to be at the airport about 4 hours early, which is one hour more than the “normal” time for an international flight. It kind of sucks being there that early, but it’s better than late and missing my plane.

So far, the kitties seem okay. I’ll be going over again today to check up on them.

Speaking of, “The cats are all full of food and clean litter”

I must say they seemed awfully active for being full of clean litter.
