So, it’s been one week and one day, and my car still isn’t ready. I called the body shop, and they said that I *might* be able to pick it up on Saturday morning. I don’t feel like driving to VA before my exam to pick up my car, so the insurance company extended my rental until Monday (and maybe Tuesday). I did get the final repair estimate for the damage: $2328.67. Add to that the $20.99/day for the rental car, that’s a hefty sum for the insurance to pay out. I just wish they’d get my car to me sooner

Tommorrow, I will take the 2nd part of my Solaris exam (310-015), and if I pass it, I will be a Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA). The content for the second part doesn’t seem as techincal as the first part. It’s more knowing configuration files and how things work. The exam covers networking (not much), NFS, NIS, AutoFS, syslog, ACLs, RBAC, and JumpStart and Web Flash Installation Archives (flars, hehe). Wish me luck!
