Wordpress 1.5 has been officially announced. As you can see, I’ve upgraded my weblog to reflect that. It was pretty painless, except the fact that I now need to go through and figure out which plugins I use do and do not work with it. Some of the plugins I use are already built into Strayhorn, like Kitten’s Spaminator. A blacklist and whitelist functionality is also included. The first time anyone posts a comment, they will be moderated. Once I approve them, they can continue to post comments without going through moderation.
Changes will occur as I add plugins back in that I enjoy. The biggest plugin I’d like to have back is my SprintPhoto, but since it’s already a hack, I might have to wait, or just update it myself.
Update March 9, 2005: I’ve gotten SprintPhoto working again, but there is apparently a small bug in the hacked wp-mail which prevents the category from showing up appropriately (it’s set to General rather than Moblog), but I’m sure with time, I can figure it out.

Hi,
I just upgraded to WP 1.5, and also just purchased a Treo 650. I was looking at the SprintPhoto hack, and was wondering if it works with 1.5. Judging by your post, it appears it doesn’t? The original wp-mail.php hack that SprintPhoto is based on seems to work, though.
What happens when you try to install/use SprintPhoto in 1.5?
Thanks…
