I’m currently getting my Internet fix from Weisbaden, Germany (a T-Mobile hotspot), and updating the Europe weblog, so if you haven’t been over there yet, go there now. This weblog won’t get updated too much while I’m here.

So, Today, my officemate and I explored the world of ringtones on our phones. He has a Nokia 6820, and I my Treo 650. Cingular is selling some pretty cool Star Wars ringtones, but they’re only for Cingular customers (which I’m not), and they’re $2, which I think is too much for a sound byte. I really wanted one of these, so we figured out how to get them. I found this page on how to convert mp3s to ringtones. I had a few Star Wars mp3s laing around, so I cut them down to a decent size, and converted them using the instructions found on that site. My Treo sees them with no problems, my officemate must use midi however :(

How cool is it to have your phone say (in Yoda’s voice) “Hmmm… Incoming call you have, answer it quickly you must”. Unfortunately, I usually have my phone on vibrate, so it won’t be heard much, but it’s still better than the default ringers.

After being extremely busy last week, this weekend was designated for bumming around. I got home Friday evening about 10, and I started playing WoW. I got in with a good group for Zul’Farrak in Tanaris, and we finished that fairly easily, although it did take us over two hours. I finally went to bed about 2:30am :)

Saturday, I really bummed around - I didn’t wake up until about noon, then I laid around in bed reading for an hour or two. Finally got up and got a shower, then sit down in front of my computer and started playing WoW again. I didn’t do any dungeons, but I did a lot of various quests on my own that were my level (or a little higher). I made level 50, and I’m only 12g shy of my mount. I did a lot of exploring: discovered a little bit of Un’Goro crater, all of Tanaris, and all of the Hinterlands. I was going to wait on my mount until I was 60, but I think I’ll go ahead and get it, there’s a lot of travelling to do.

I played a lot yesterday morning as well while I was doing laundry, then met someone for coffee and hung out with Brian and Mark for dinner. I finally washed my pillows, not something I normally do, because I don’t like the lumpy feel they get after being washed, but my face was breaking out on the side I sleep on, and I since just washing the sheets hasn’t helped, I went ahead and washed the pillows too. Unfortunately, they weren’t completely dry by the time I went to bed (I washed them first thing in the morning). I bundled up a pile of sheets and used them as a pillow - it worked.

Tonight, I have to “clean” my house for when my mom comes. Otherwise, I’ll get yelled at for having a messy house. I’m only going to vacuum it, and pick up things that have been set in random places. Nothing major - but I’ll probably do a pretty through cleaning when I get back. No telling how often the cats will puke while I’m gone :(

I went to see Episode 3 with my co-workers at the 12:01 showing last night, and it was amazing. So many little nods to the original trilogy, and what Lucas wanted to do. I’ll stop before I ruin it for anyone else, maybe I’ll post details when I’ have more time.

But it was freaking awesome, and completely vindicates Lucas from the first two. Some people said the first two made more sense, but I think Episode 3 could stand on it’s own.
