Brian, Mark, Michael and I went to Chopstix for dinner on Monday night. We went with Chopstix because it was late, and it’s close to our house. I’m not a big fan of chinese food, so read this review with that in mind. I agreed to go because I wasn’t that hungry and I figured that I could eat rice if I got hungry.

The atmosphere is nice, classy, family style meals. I ordered the chicken and vegetables in white sauce. I’m not sure what the white sauce was, but it was OK. The quality of meat left a lot to be desired, but the veggies were nice and crisp.

The meals were huge, which explains their price. I don’t think any of us other than Michael finished our meal. I certainly didn’t. Mark had Moo Shi Chicken, which came with tortillas. Brian had some kind of beef, and Michael had Vegetables with Tofu. Brian’s beef was a little chewy, but he ate it and took it home, as well as my chicken.

When you first walk in the door, you order at the bar in back, you’re given a number, and then you wait until your food is brought out. We had a table booth for the four of us, and we wished we had a larger table with all of the food that we had. What looked like black tea (definately tea, but I didn’t have any) was brought out before our meal, and rice with our meals.

I wouldn’t choose Chopstix again, just because it’s Chinese food, and not much else for me to eat, but I would recommend it for people who do like Chinese food to try.
