Lost 10% of my original weight!
This morning I weighed in and I have lost 10% of my original weight! I weighed 151 lbs this morning and 10% of 168 would put me at 151.2 lbs.
I’m starting to lose more slowly though, if at all. Some weeks I stay the same, some weeks I lose 1lb, some I lose 2, some I gain half a pound. As long as I’m losing more than I’m gaining, I’m a happy camper.
These last few weeks have been rough, and I expect that this week and probably some of next week will be just as bad. We’ve been eating out a lot – mostly having to do with the fact that I haven’t been to the grocery in over 3 weeks since we’re moving. We have canned veggies, but those get a little boring after a while.
I think I’ll head to the grocery on Wednesday after the movers have left and stock up on food for the new house. Just the basics like milk, juice, etc…

It always goes slower after a while. From February to December last year I lost 20 kg (about 44 lb, I think), but in January I haven’t lost more than about 300 grams – with exactly the same diet (I am writing down everything), but a little more activity (added an eveing of swimming to the usual walking and biking). I hope it will speed up again soon…
(To those worried about too much weight loss: I started at more than 200 lb and 5′4″.)
After a while I found out that even going out wasn’t a problem. I tried not to eat too much bread and I asked for anything but fried potatoes, plus I don’t like sauce or dressings.
